We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teachers to work for our partner schools that are seeking new staff for the next academic year.
Successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, inspiring students to achieve their full potential and pursue their academic interests.
Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the requirements of the secondary curriculum and promote deep understanding and critical thinking.
· Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and encouraged to participate actively in their learning.
· Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, providing additional support or extension activities as necessary to ensure that all students can make progress.
· Assess student progress and attainment using a variety of assessment methods, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their learning goals.
· Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, communicating effectively and collaborating to support students' educational and personal development.
· Use a range of teaching strategies and resources, including technology, to engage and motivate students and enhance their learning experiences.
· Participate in departmental meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school events and initiatives to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
· Previous experience teaching KS3-5, preferably in a secondary school setting, with a strong understanding of the secondary curriculum and pedagogy.
· Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching and inspiring young learners to achieve their full potential.
· Creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning, with the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a departmental team, with a proactive and flexible approach to teaching and school life.
